Hawken has over 8 years of experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity. Prior to founding Edgewater, Hawken closed three platform investments an associate at H.I.G. Capital. Hawken also worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. Hawken holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.

William is a Managing Partner at Edgewater. He has extensive experience in private equity, corporate finance, post-merger integrations, and operations. Previously, William served as an investment professional at Axial Reade Capital, where he closed two platforms and 11 roll-up acquisitions, and at Rhône Capital, where he led three M&A transactions. William began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, supporting an M&A deal and two IPOs. William graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College.
Prior joining Edgewater, Daniel Murillo held strategic and executive roles, establishing a reputation as an operationally-minded CFO with expertise in acquisitions, financial integration, and operational excellence. As CFO and Co-CEO of Alliance Environmental Group, he led the successful integration of five acquisitions, optimizing finance, CRM, and payroll systems to drive seamless integration. His approach to integration extends beyond finance, covering all critical workstreams—an approach that sets him apart in the industry. Previously, Daniel co-managed the sale of RSA Engineered Products and Allfast, where he led financial modeling, audits, and due diligence. Under his leadership, Allfast's EBITDA rose from 0% to 13% during the COVID-19 period, showcasing his ability to drive growth under challenging conditions. Daniel holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University and a professional accounting certification from UCLA, with specialized expertise in data analytics and financial systems.
Juan E. has close to four years of experience in private equity and consulting. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Los Andes University and has completed Levels I and II of the CFA Program. Currently at Edgewater, he spearheads financial modeling and FP&A projects while overseeing analysts and interns. Prior to joining Edgewater, he worked at an investment banking boutique focused on the Colombian agriculture sector.
Alex is an Analyst at Edgewater, where he works on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and projects supporting the Office of the CFO. In his role, Alex focuses on delivering in-depth financial analysis, market research, and strategic insights to drive client success. Before joining Edgewater, he honed his skills during an internship with Zeus Enterprises, an independent sponsor, where he gained experience in market research and financial analysis. Alex is pursuing a B.S. in Finance at Florida State University, leveraging his academic foundation and professional experiences to deliver valuable insights and support to his team.
Eduardo brings a strong background in corporate finance, financial modeling, and financial analysis. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Javeriana University, where he demonstrated leadership and commitment as Director of the Investment Banking area for the Finance Group. With a keen interest in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Eduardo is eager to further his knowledge in the industry and leverage his expertise to contribute to the success of Edgewater and its clients.
Julian has strong experience in financial analysis and investment banking. He worked as a Financial Intern at Edgewater Strategy Group and demonstrated leadership within the Investment Banking Division at Javeriana University, where he completed his studies in Finance. Julian has been actively involved in M&A projects, applying his skills in corporate finance, financial analysis, and transaction execution. He has further developed his expertise through training in financial modeling and participation in the 2023 Harvard Global Case Competition.
Marco graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Economics. He started his career as a Financial Analyst at Nelnet, Inc. (NYSE: NNI) in the U.S. before moving to Heritage Financial Advisors in Colombia as an Investment Banking Analyst. There, he conducted valuation analyses across various industries using DCF, market multiples, and precedent transactions, and developed financial models for debt restructuring and financing strategies. Currently, Marco is an analyst at Edgewater, actively involved in M&A projects, supporting FP&A, and applying his expertise in corporate finance and transaction execution.
Pablo has a strong background in financial analysis, consulting, and strategic financial modeling. He previously worked as a Financial Analyst at Mutuo Capital International LLC and interned at Latinvestco Investment Bank, focusing on financial modeling and analytics. Pablo has contributed to M&A projects, applying his expertise in financial analysis and transaction support. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from CESA, which enhances his analytical approach in various financial roles.
Santiago holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from University of the Andes. He has a strong background in financial modeling and business analyses. Prior to joining Edgewater, Santiago worked as a Search Fund analyst at Octagon Equity.
Carolina holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Social Communication from Javeriana University. In her capacity as Office Manager, Carolina ensures seamless daily operations and supports the Edgewater team with exceptional organizational and administrative expertise, fostering a positive and efficient work environment that enables the team's success. Prior to joining Edgewater, Carolina was a business administrator with Lenovo.
